Chapter 7: Never let your guard down.

A hand on my shoulder. It's Eylul. "You could've got yourself killed! That was really reckless!" She looks annoyed but clearly can't make a good angry face. "Fine, fine, I'll be more careful in the future." I hear a sonic boom as the building nearby explodes as splinters pierce my skin. I let my guard down, dammit! I thought he had been burned alive though! How is he alive? I grip my blade tighter as the splinters pierce more into my skin, but I ignore the pain. I jump straight at him and attempt to kill the greed sin. s**t! HE HAS A SWORD NOW TOO?

I deflected the blow of his blade before jumping backwards. I charge back in and swing a sword straight at his face, but he blocks it and throws me to the ground before he plants his blade straight into the ground. A red aura surrounds him as his ability begins charging as a red explosion appears. How...? That was my attack... I fell to the ground, on the brink of death.

But Leto charges in and throws the greed sin straight to the ground before punching him straight in the gut. I hear a c***k as parts of his rib stick out of his body. I charge back in and sent another s***h of my now pure red blade. The energy destroys several nearby buildings as we both begin clashing.

I feel weaker every time I take a blow as I see a purple bit on his blade. Poison. Thankfully, Naeve gave me some training to take poison, but it's still difficult to push through. I stab him straight through the heart, but he still attacks and lands a cut straight to my neck. Leto charges back in but gets stabbed straight through the stomach before being thrown into a nearby building. I hear a massive crash as rotting wood is sent flying and when the dust settles the sin of greed has vanished.
