Chapter 4: An Honorable Man.

503 Words
The training is rough. Dirt is all over my hands and clothes. It's been two years of training with Naeve. He's an amazing sensei, but DAMN IS IT ROUGH! I keep swinging my blade, over and over again. It hurts to swing my blade and my hands are rough, but it feels good knowing I'm preparing for my fight. See, recently they discovered the location of the first sin of greed. I can't wait to become strong enough. The training involves swinging a sword from seven am to one pm. After that rough training in the morning, I have to go to spiritual training from one to seven. After that, I have to try and combine them. It means that I have to block my mind from being read, so my attacks can't be read by building a spiritual wall. While doing that, I had to use my spiritual blade and try and beat Naeve. No victories yet but I will prevail! My life has been rough, but it's still getting better with Eylul and Naeve around. I'm beginning to face him now! "Today will be the day I beat you sensei Naeve!" He just stares back with a happy glare as he sends a spiritual kunai, IT'S STRAIGHT AT MY FACE! I just barely dodged out of the way! I send a blast of spiritual energy, but he just blocks it with water. He can create water with his spiritual energy and then manipulate that water. It's super annoying because he's so defensive with his technique! I keep sending spiritual balls of energy, but he keeps blocking them. HE'S STRIKING WITH HIS BLADE! NOW'S MY CHANCE! I attempt to slice, but he blocks my attack before sending a wave of spiritual energy formed by his water technique right at me. I have to stop it! But how...? I grip my blade, the spiritual energy in my soul radiating. I sent a blue wave straight towards the wave of his water. My blade s***h almost cuts through but fails. I managed to jump through the weaker wave due to my s***h weakening the wave. I jump right through with ease. I attack him with a different, weaker s***h, but he counters it with ease. I get poked straight in the gut and wake up a few hours later. "DAMMIT! I LOST AGAIN!!!!" He just smirks and says "You need more training! Eylul and Perseus. Oh, yea I forgot to mention who Perseus is again! He's that giant that attacked. He was an army commander of the kingdom before the goblins and god of death destroyed it. Eylul and him are pretty good friends. But, as Eylul has stated (And I love to make fun of her, telling her she isn't telling the truth), they are in fact not dating and are just friends. It's time for me to get back to training though. I'll be ready to face Greed by next month. I swear by that on my life and that's a fact!
