Chapter 9: It's never over.

I grip my blade tighter and tighter as the blade shifts from a shade of blood-red to midnight black. The slashes that the blade can send are stronger. I can tell. This is the full potential of my blade. Naeve shows up, and his water is able to heal me back to full strength. Finally. I can finish this bastard. He's not done for though. He gets back up somehow. I see a random civilian in his hand as he's dragging them by the throat as it seems he's draining the energy out of the guy.
"HEY! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING TO HIM???" The greed sin stays silent for a moment before saying "Recovering from your attacks. This is your fault. This is your sin." My teeth grit. My face turned red with rage. I won't ever forgive him for this. I jumped straight towards him, sending a s***h straight towards his neck. As he ducks, I kick his legs out before stabbing him straight through the jaw. I will never fail to defeat these sins.
"THIS IS TO SAVE MY FAMILY! I'LL NEVER LET YOU WIN!" I punched him straight in the face, as he was sent flying. I jumped straight towards him and stabbed him through the mouth as my blade came out of the end of his flesh. I grabbed him and threw him flying again and sent a s***h of black energy of my spiritual energy. My soul is becoming weaker, which means my will to fight will become lessened, but I'll still be able to regain my strength over time.
I keep jumping towards him, s***h after s***h as his body is slowing, being ripped apart from the inside, but he continues to regenerate by killing random people. We're not in the human world, however, so I don't know where they're sent. I have a memory. Naeve telling me. Humans who die in the human world are sent to heaven or hell. I had the choice to kill the sins, and go into heaven, or die and go to hell.
Where do the humans that die in this world, the ones that are in the inbetween realm, go to? But I can't wonder that right now! I send him flying with a kick that leaves a massive crater before chasing him into the nearby city area where he's sent to. He crashes into a skyscraper! I jump into it from the crater, almost two miles in one hop. I can surpass my limits in those moments. I stab him through the head, as he falls. His body began to fade.
This time, I can tell he's dead. I know because... he's fading in front of my eyes. However, he refuses to go without a fight. In his final moments, he summons a massive blade that is pure black. It appears above the skyscraper, almost outsizing it. I slice a hole in the roof and blast it away, but it still catches me. I'm stabbed on the end of a massive sword that's clearly around 100 feet long at least. I smashed into a crater, my body almost ripped in half. I got back up, but barely alive. I quickly fell back to the ground, scraping my chin as blood rushed out, before seeing Eylul rush over to me, tears in her eyes.
