Chapter 24 The night air was cold as the car Damien was driving pulled up in front of an old building on the outskirts of town. The streetlights only illuminated part of the area, the rest of it was submerged in darkness. Elara stared out the window, trying to recognize the place, but nothing was familiar. The old warehouse looked abandoned, the doors were rusted, the paint was peeling off the walls, and some of the windows were broken.
