Chapter 26: "The Things He Kept" [Morning – Feliz’s Apartment] The soft knock on her door came earlier than she expected. Feliz had just finished pinning up her hair, still debating whether to wear lip gloss or not. The night before, she reread Sly’s message five times— “Don’t worry, it’s not a date. I just want to show you something.” She wasn’t sure why that made her more nervous. Opening the door, she found him leaning against the frame—black jacket, faded jeans, and his usual helmet in hand.
