27 MADELINE I’d heard the rap on the door and peeked out the blinds. My heart had sped at seeing Colton’s truck. Then the raised voices, rich with l**t and want, anger and hurt drew my attention. Already riled from Peter and our argument, Hudson would be on edge. It would only take a few well-placed words from Colton to get him where he wanted to be. Either on his knees or a*s up for my husband. And my body burned for the same to the point I went breathless before hurrying to the bedside table for condoms and lube. There was no way in hell I was taking a chance things would hopefully make their way upstairs before their sanity came down a few notches and Hudson ended up denying what he wanted yet again.
