I have a meeting arranged at the orphanage Isra was taken from, the nurse who was in charge of her would be there today and I wanted to meet with her.
“…I don’t like what I felt when she was here.” Declan said while I was getting dressed up.
“You know you don’t sneak into my room like that.” I glanced over my shoulder and stared at him.
He rolled his eyes. “I did knock.”
I narrowed my eyes on him. “I never heard that.”
“Maybe you were being too focused to know.” He retorted.
I was having a conversation with Ash, and probably didn’t hear when he knocked or came in.
He cleared his throat. “I was saying earlier, about Mrs Joan, something doesn’t sit well with me. Shouldn’t we do something about it?” He asked.
