I walked past the Chief Elder when I saw him outside the hall. I didn’t know who I should trust anymore because in an instant they could turn their back against me.
I was driven home, Declan said he would get to Isra at school, and I nodded without arguing, he seemed he wanted to say something to me but I didn’t give him a chance, I had to go home and check up on Uncle Chad.
