“…I’m home.” Declan announced as he pushed the door open, I turned and watched him as he walked in, at the same time, Kellan was coming downstairs as well.
“You’re a bit late.” Kellan said as he made his way down to him and took the brown envelope from his hand.
“Something came up while I was there, and that’s why I came late.”
“What happened?” Kellan questioned.
Declan shrugged it off. “It’s a minor issue and it was taken care of.”
He came to me, I was already up standing, and embraced him when he came close. He kissed the side of my neck before he let go. “How are you?” He asked as he tucked my hair behind my ear.
