‘…Kellan, help!’ I heard Isra’s voice through the mind link and screeched the car to a sudden halt.
‘Isra!’ I called through the mind link but there wasn’t any response from her, and then I wasn’t able to connect to her at all.
My heart raced in my chest, something had gone wrong, and Isra was in danger.
I held the wheel for a while, and tried to think of what I should do, and who I had to call.
She was supposed to be home by now.
I picked up my phone from the car seat beside with my shaky hands, and placed a call through Delcan because I couldn’t gather my thoughts at the moment. I placed the phone on my ear, and heard his voice when he picked the call.
