“That’s enough…” Mom said coming in between us, Dad stared at her, taking his gaze away from me briefly, he snorted, and headed out of the room.
“I will go talk to your father.” Mom muttered, and went after him, they left me in the room.
I used the opportunity to look around the bedroom, there was no strand of hair on his comb, so I went to the bathroom and took his toothbrush and replaced it with another.
