''Behold your new commander!'' Tega said in a tone of authority as he raised George's hand in the presence of all guards, maids and stewards.
''Henceforth,'' Tega remarked, taking a pause while pacing along amidst the guards, ''he shall be the custodian of the scroll, and shall be the authority you all report to.''
''Richard is hereby stripped of all honours pending his test,'' Tega confirmed, ''and his test shall be meted out as dictated by the new commander, George.''
