I wake up hours before sunrise to pack my things and have some time to reflect before the final test of the quarter.
I look around the small bedroom and realize that I won’t miss it even though I’ve spent most of my time here for the past six months. Though it was a space of my own and back home, I’ll have to share a room with Anice like I always did, I’d much rather be away from this place and never return.
I take a deep breath after opening the window. The air is crisp and invigorating. We’re meant to meet downstairs in twenty minutes and these days, I don’t make a point of arriving earlier than usual, but this morning, I will.
It’s my last day, after all.
I’m eager to start it, because the quicker that happens, the faster it’ll all end.
