Lilieth Petra, of course, is standing right in the center of the group—the ringleader of the whole operation, no doubt, since she's the resentful one. I wonder if the others know she'll be Luna and if so, why the hell they're so supportive when they don't stand a chance. I'll never understand it. Petra steps forward. Her eyes scan my face before venturing lower, and I watch as they settle on the letters in my hand, which I instinctively hold closer to my chest. "What does the Omega have there, I wonder?" she asks. I realize this is the first time I've heard her voice. She's never said anything to me before. None of them have, actually.
