Anita felt so far away even if she was really just right next to me. Somehow, the more I tried to get closer to her, the more she strayed away. Obviously, the feeling wasn’t very pleasant, but I had to persevere.
It didn’t help that this asshole Sebastian had come up with something that could tarnish my reputation in a matter of seconds. I had no plans of going to the hospital to check up on him, but I did so because I had to show that I cared for his well-being and as well as the fact that this was an opportunity to be around Anita.
Although if I had known how quickly it would go from bad to worse, I probably wouldn’t have come.
