“Oh my girl. My sweet girl” my mom repeated over and over again still pinning me to her chest. My face was warm and wet from the tears that covered my cheeks
“Let her breath, Beth.” I heard my dad say. Instinctively I wiggled out of my mom’s arms and the tears started falling even more. Although I’ve always been close with my mom I have always, without a doubt been a daddy’s girl.
