The Villainess Needs A Hero Chapter 10: Thee Danger Scarlett Mila "Master, don't you have any orders for me today? It's unfair that Aesir is the only one doing something for you" - Alarick suddenly asked which made me turn around to look at him, however I almost accidentally threw the roses I just harvested when I saw how his appearance. "Gosh! Alarick! Could you inform me first before you are going to change into your human form?" - I exclaimed and he just shrug his shoulders. I already told him before that he should warn me first before he shift because it is still quite shocking for me. Especially the fact that I am more used to seeing him and Aesir in their wolf forms. How could they change forms? Well perks of being a guardian I assume and they also explained to me that it is because of them being my familiar. Usually, he and Aesir said that they are not able to change their appearance if the contract their master is still below than five years, however in the my case they were able to change their forms in the same day that I have been fully recovered from the wounds I got from breaking free from the system.  I was shocked as well to see that both of them turned into human beings. But not that I am not happy with that. I actually think that both of them being able to change is a good thing because I am able to ask them to deliver some orders to our customers around the empire while I too do the same, so it's really save much time. I also ask them sometimes to go around the empire and gather news or information about the palace and of course about the current happenings around the place. Well, I only ask them to gather information once every two months and people does not usually buy flowers around this time of the day so they really have less to do. Well, I only asked Aesir to look for a house from another town, a town that is the nearest to the empire gates. I already made up my mind to leave this town last night because I overheard from the citizens that the Emperor is planning to visit this place because of the miracle that no monsters had tried to attack the town for the last four years. Clearly I need to leave because my biological father and those two asshole brothers of mine would be more likely accompany him. Tsk. They are so loyal to that bastard emperor to the point that they do not realize that they are being chained. "Master I'm really bored" - He said again which made me roll my eyes. I really can't understand him. When he has lots of tasks to do he is whining that he is already tired and he wants to rest, now that I am making him rest he is telling me that he is bored? Seriously? "Then help me pack the things here in the green house, you could also help me gather the last flowers so that we can still sell them before we leave the day after tomorrow"  - I said and in just a blink of an eye he is already doing what I asked him to do. I can't help but to heave a deep sigh because those tools that he is packing is not really much of importance because I am not planning to start up a flower shop in our new home. I am planning to apply to a guild and be a mercenary or adventurer. I can pretty much pass the examination there since I can wield a sword and even use a bow and arrow. Alarick thought me how to wield a sword while Aesir thought me how to use a bow and arrow. It is because they can never be always there to protect me, especially now that they cannot really show themselves as my familiar because I haven't allowed them to just yet. Anyway, I should focus on harvesting all the flowers, sort them out and give every citizen one flower a sign of farewell and of course I'll sell the remaining flowers for a cheaper price. I am about to harvest another white rose when suddenly I heard the front door of the flower shop opened "Hello I would like to buy some flowers!"  I heard the person who just entered said so I immediately put down my gardening scissors, wipe my hands on the apron I am wearing and I immediately head towards the counter to entertain the customer. | A few hours later| "Wew.. I'm tired!" -  Alarick blurted out and I can't help but to roll my eyes. This is what I am talking about a while ago. He likes do do something, saying that he is bored but after a while he will already complain that he is already damn tired and he wants to rest.  That's why sometimes I rather ask Aesir than him to do something for me. "I'm back master" - well speaking of Aesir, and Aesir shall appear out of nowhere. Of course, that's understandable because she is a guardian. "How's your search Aesir?" - I immediately ask as I continue preparing the farewell flowers for every citizen around this town. "I already bought a house, master. It is neither too big or too small. But what makes it worth it is the basement where you can cultivate your magic without being detected because of the material is is made. The good thing also is that owner did not know that the basement is made with such material." - she said which made me smile. It is great that I wouldn't worry about getting detected since first that town is near the empire and the magic tower is also quite near and they could easily detect an abnormality in magic within certain scopes and the town where we are going to live soon is part of that scope. "However, I have a bad news master" - she suddenly which made my smile disappear and I suddenly stopped from making the farewell gift to the people. Even the lazy and currently resting Alarick became alert all of the sudden.  "Spill it" "There are monsters on their way here and they are quite many. The estimated time of arrival is by tomorrow night. And expected arrival of the Emperor is only a few hours after the arrival of the monsters. So by the time they arrive here there would be no survivors"-  she said and I can't help but to heave a deep sigh. I can't stay in this place anymore since they are going to arrive tomorrow evening, but I also can't let those annoying monsters attack this place because when I'm gone I cannot control them anymore.  And I have an option to control all of them right now and make them leave however, there is a high possibility that they are going to attack another town, village or what so ever. Although they are monsters they still have a brain and that brain orders them to kill and eat human beings. And it is worse if there is someone who is actually controlling them because I cannot risk my identity. So in other words. I need to stop those annoying monsters before hey could arrive here.  "We'll leave tomorrow when the sun sets and annihilate those stinky beings" -  I said and the two nod their heads. Tsk I can't remember something like this happened in the story. Yeah, I forgot that I f-cking completely changed the flow.
