Odessa came back with the cell keys and opened the door. “At the back of the castle, you’ll see your child’s grave. When you're done, come back to the cell and lock it. I’ll go drop the keys. And note, you can't escape from this place”
“Thank you so much, I owe you one”
Akira carefully tiptoed to the back of the castle. She hurried to the area where she saw freshly dug sand but was shocked when she got there
“He’s not here,” she said surprised “Who took him”
Kyron’s grave was empty, it was dug and left open
Akira knelt down and cried forgetting the fact that no one was supposed to hear her
“They not only stole life away from my child, they stole death away from him too. I'll make them pay” She cried
“What are you doing here? How did you get out of the cell?” Luna Selene said approaching Akira
“What's going on here?” Orion followed
Selene gasped “You dug a dead child out of the grave?”
“No, I didn't, I only came here to say my final goodbyes but he wasn't in the grave when I got here” Akira defended
“Liar” Orion snarled
“Who helped you out of the cell?” Selene asked furiously
“No one” she lied
“Hmmm“ the Luna furrowed her brows “Clean this mess and escort her back to the cell, no one must know about this. Seal up the grave again”
The Luna paced in her room wondering who had dug the child out and helped Akira out of the cell
“Mother, do you think the flesh eaters dug and ate the dead child?”
“Most likely”
“But it is forbidden”
“What do I care, the child is dead”
“What should we do with the girl?” Orion asked
“She would become your mate”
“What? Why?”
“You can't become a respected Alpha without a mate, you know how things go in this pack. You can discard her when you find your mate”
“Hmmm, you really are something Mom, and I like it”
“Bring the girl here”
Akira was brought to Luna’s chambers
“Listen here, little witch girl. I shouldn’t keep you alive but you could be of good use to us. You would become a mate to my son”
“What” Akira asked surprised “I already have a mate and you killed him”
“You have no choice, it’s either you become a mate to Orion or you die. You were caught red-handed digging the grave of a dead pup and that is considered treason and it’s punishable by death”
“But I didn’t dig…”
“Silence” Luna interrupted “Mate or death, choose your fate now”
Akira thought of choosing death because her life was worthless now. She lost everything. Her mom, her powers, her mate, her pup, what was the reason for living. She had just one reason, ‘REVENGE’ on not only the werewolves but the witches
“I would become a mate to your son” she announced
“Good” Luna responded

Horace gasps waking up suddenly. He looked around confused, his vision blurred, his heart ached like there was a knife stuck in it
“Ouch” he flinched as he tried to stand up
“Easy there tiger”
He looked forward and saw and old lady in her 70s mixing whatever she knows she’s mixing
“Who are you? And where am I?”
“You’re in Blackwood city, and I? I’m your night in shiny armor”
“Black what? How did I get here?”
“The flood brought you here”
“Flood?” Horace touched his chest and noticed it was bleeding
“You have to lie down and rest so your wound can heal,” she said bringing a plate of herbs for him
“Drink this” He gulped down the herbs
“Arggggg” he spat on the floor irritated
“Yeah, good things don't always taste good. How do you feel now?
“A bit better. But who are you?”
“You can call me Louisiana”
