Lyva POV Somedays I really love being War Chief. I love the smell of the hunt, being able to command the border patrols and War Packs and having the authority to see my family protected. Today is not one of those days. The rain pelts down, and into the puddle under me, spreading shivers across my naked skin. I've been lying here, behind a large shrub at the top of the small rise, for about four hours and my patience is wearing thin. The luscious green leaves may be the perfect cover to hide the soft bronze of my exposed skin. It may allow me to view my quarry in secrecy. But it's really uncomfortable.
