Chapter 3: Love“So what did you mean I’m a hard man to get together with?” I asked Quent. We were cooling off in bed after making love for the first—and hopefully not the last—time. The dinner had been chaos. I’d been uneasy sitting at the head table facing everyone. I could feel their questions, but couldn’t tell them I was sitting there only because Quent wanted me to be there.
