A gnome lunges for me, but burns to ash when he touches me. As long as I keep my fire up, they can’t hurt me. And our pendants, Granny, made us protect us from all magical attacks. So I am basically just kicking gnomes around now, and burning them as I go.
“I can’t feel her aura anymore. I think she left,” Kai says, looking around. “I don’t feel her either.” I answer and go back to killing gnomes. They are everywhere and there are so many of them. I let out my sleep mist and let it target the gnomes.
“Everyone out,” I yell to our side over our connection, and they all disappear, or run out of the room. The gnomes all fall down, fast asleep and finally the room is quiet. Camie comes back inside and immediately helps us burn their bodies.
