Chapter 6

Sam’s pov

Sage went in another direction she probably went to go find Joe, as she always does in the morning. Sage always finds Joe in the mornings it’s her morning routine. She thinks that it would help her reputation and her image, its sages way of trying to uphold herself.

But I went to my locker to go get my books for biology. When I closed my locker Jake was standing there, I jumped in the air.

“Don’t scare me like that,” I said with a smile on my face.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you like that,” Jake said with a smile.

“You’re alright, but what do you think of your algebra class or any of your classes,” I said trying to make some kind of conversation.

“Algebra is alright and for the rest of my classes they are alright. Hey what do you say about us going out sometime, I mean like a real date,” Jake said with a huge smile on his face.

“I don’t even know what to say. But yes I will go out with you, when would you want to go,” I said feeling super excited.

“How about Friday, would that work for you,” Jake said.

“Yes that would work, and after that would you want to go to one of Joes parties. I have to go since I am sages best friend and if I don’t go she will give me a bunch of S H I T,” I said feeling a little stupid that I brought up the party.

“Yeah sure we can do that,” Jake said.

“I’m sorry that I brought up the whole party,” I said.

“Your all good, I kind of figured that there was a party on a Friday night,” Jake said.

The bell rang for the first class of the day.

“Well I guess see you around,” I said.

“Yeah see you around,” he said.

I went to class, the rest of the day was super boring. Finally the last bell rang for our last class and felt relief. Sage was by her car waiting for me as always.

I got into her car and we drove towards both of our houses. Sage dropped me off and I thanked her and she drove off as always I got into the house. I went up to my room and got right to my homework. After that I went to go take a shower to make myself feel better. After I got out of the shower and got dressed I went downstairs to go grab a snack from the fridge.

I tried to find something but didn’t so I cooked up something to eat. I baked some cookies after I got done I cleaned up after myself, I went back upstairs and check my phone.

“Hey I got your phone number from sage, I hope that you don’t mind,” Jake said through text.

“Oh okay, yeah I was going to ask you your phone number but I forgot,” I said.

“You’re all good,” he said back.

I looked at the clock it’s 9pm already, I got into bed and fell asleep.
