Lost Letters, Found Love

245 Words
Episode 1: The Bookstore’s Secret The bell above the door jingled as Aarav Malhotra stepped into his bookstore, Riverside Books. The air smelled of aged paper and freshly brewed coffee—his two favorite scents. It was a quiet morning, just the way he liked it. He walked towards the old wooden shelves, running his fingers over the spines of classic novels. His bookstore wasn’t just a business to him; it was his safe haven, a place where stories lived long after their authors were gone. Today, however, the past had something unexpected in store for him. As Aarav reached for an old hardcover book, the shelf wobbled slightly. A few books tumbled down, and along with them, a small, dusty bundle of letters wrapped in a faded blue ribbon. He frowned, picking them up carefully. The paper was fragile, the ink slightly faded. Curious, he untied the ribbon and unfolded the first letter. The handwriting was elegant, delicate. As he began reading, his eyes widened. "My Dearest Mira, I don’t know if this letter will ever reach you, but I have to try. Every moment without you feels like a lifetime. I cannot bear this silence. If you still love me, meet me at the old bridge on the night of the full moon…" Aarav’s heartbeat quickened. Who was Rohan? Who was Mira? And why were these letters never sent? He didn’t know it yet, but this discovery was about to change his life.ú
