I left the office without another word with my tears rolling down my cheeks. I entered the bedroom and wore my clothes from last night.
There was a dead silence in the room with only the voice of my inner self shouting me to run away but my legs seemed to be struck.
I have seen Jack angry, sad, frustrated but the look in his eyes today was of pure hatred, I have never seen before.
I know he is too angry to see things rationally but I won't let this ruin us. He needs time to think, so I will give him some but I am not letting him go without a fight.
I won't waste any more time crying I decided. I will prove to him that I didn't do anything and not let us fall apart.
