I felt blood froze in my veins as I saw Laura standing in front of me. I just told her on the phone that Jack and I were in the office working and now she is standing in front of me looking furious.
Jack seeing the horrified expression on my face turned to see to was the cause for it.
"Laura, what are you doing here? " Jack asked. seeing that I have lost my ability to speak.
"I came for coffee here and then I saw you" she smiled like she was the most innocent woman on this planet, how can she change her expression like that.
She signaled to the waiter to get an extra chair and sat with us.
She turned toward me and her glare back. I must admit her angry face is a little comical like a wild cat wasn't given food.
"So Allena, why did you lie?" she asked raising her eyebrow.
