Paisley's Point of View Graduation was only two days away, and I was almost ready. Adelaide helped me pick out the cutest dress to wear to my ceremony. It was an off the shoulder, white dress with ruffles and little orange flowers. Today Bea, Lia, Adelaide, and I were going to get manicures and pedicures while we were at the mall.  I figured Auggie would tag along because he doesn't like me getting too far away from him, but Adelaide wasn't having that. She told him that we were 'having a girls' day,' which was very much needed, and there 'wasn't anything he could do about it.' I thought it was kind of funny that he wouldn't dare to argue with her. I think she's put him on his ass too many times and has seen first hand just what happens when you don't mind her. At the end of the day, Auggie knew that none of the girls, especially Adelaide, would let anything happen to me.  I can take care of myself perfectly fine, and he knows that, but ever since my family's passing in the fire, he worries to death about me.  I was super excited because I loved getting my nails done, but I never kept up with getting them refilled, or I would end up popping them off because of training. I wasn't really picky with how I got them done. I went back and forth from black to pastel colors, to sparkly nails, whatever I was in the mood for really. This time I wanted something to match my graduation dress. I scrolled through my phone while walking with Adelaide towards the salon, looking at different nail designs and found one I absolutely loved. It was a nude and cream ombre color with orange and white flowers. I didn't think they would last too long since I was having my nails longer than I usually do.                      "Damn, baby girl, Augustine's back will be sore from those," Adelaide said with a devilish smirk spread on her face, while she looked over at the picture pulled up on my phone. I gave her a shocked look, even though that didn't surprise me to hear her say that. I shook my head at her, trying to cover the embarrassment that heated up my cheeks. I'm more than sure my face was fully red by now. "You know she's right," Aspen purred at me. She wanted Auggie just as much as I did. She whined for Asher throughout the night. I want his touch, his mark, all of him. We've done intimate things together, but I'm a virgin. I know he's the only one I can share that bond with. He's my mate, my everything. I love him with everything I am, and so does Aspen. I know the time will come when it's right; I have no problem with waiting for when my mate is ready.  My face grew hotter because my wolf was egging on her comments, but yes, I knew she was right.  We strolled into the nail salon, sitting down in the chairs at the front of the store, waiting for Bea and Lia to show up. Adelaide scrolled through her phone, now looking for what she wanted to get on her nails when a text message from Kai popped up. I knew it was him because of the smile that played across her lips and the way her eyes lit up. "I thought this was supposed to be a 'girls day.' Huh, Dede?" I said, playfully nudging her with my elbow. "Mhmm," she responded, shooting her eyes at me and chuckled before looking back down at her phone. By the time the other two girls showed up, she had finally picked something out, so we were good to go. She had picked a nude to black ombre color with the phases of the moon and stars spread across each nail.                      "Moon Goddess, took you two long enough?" Adelaide said when they sat down next to us. "You're welcome," Bea replied as she and Lia handed us our drinks.  Bea and Lia assured us that they picked out what they wanted on their way over here so we wouldn't have to wait any longer. Bea picked out a solid, matte black color. She picks that just about every time, but it suited her perfectly.  Lia had picked out a matte wine red color, and it was beautiful. It would compliment her tan skin and dark hair.                       "You ladies can follow me," the nail tech said to us before leading us to the tables to have our nails done. Shortly after we were all finished with our manicure, we were moved to the massage chairs for our pedicure. That was my favorite part. I loved the hot, bubbly water my feet soaked in, and then the sugar scrub and lotion they rubbed into my legs before painting my nails.  "So, Paisley, let's hear about your day with Hannah," Bea said, catching our attention. She looked over at me with soft eyes. She must have known that it wasn't right, especially since I couldn't say it in front of Alpha Blackwood. "Well, Luna..." I started. "I pulled up to the school and parked in my normal spot," I continued, and she nodded, encouraging me to go on. "and I heard her talking to her group of 'friends,' and she called me a mutt, multiple times," I paused when I saw Adelaide and Lia snap their heads towards me, and all three pairs of their eyes flashed colors.  "She asked about 'Auggie,' yeah she called him that, and went on about my parents dying rather than be stuck with a 'worthless, orphaned mutt,'" I said, hoping they wouldn't freak out too bad. "SHE WHAT?!" all three of them said at the same time.  "That f*****g little, b***h. I swear Paisley, I will-" Lia interjected, before Bea gave her the 'Luna look.' Yes, they were best friends, but Bea knew that if she didn't try to contain Lia when she was pissed, she would hunt Hannah down before she had the chance to walk across the stage at graduation. "Go on," Bea said. "She shoved me, and after all of her s**t-talking, I just lost it, Bea," I said, feeling the tears well in my eyes. "I flipped her over like Dede showed me how, and took punch after punch from her because I really didn't want to hurt her. I just wanted her to stop her s**t. I eventually laid a few punches of my own before Auggie's friend pried me off of her," I finished, brushing the tears out from underneath my eyes.  They each let out a low growl, and I knew they were pissed.  "We'll take care of it," Adelaide said as they were finishing up our pedicures.  When we left the mall, Lia told us about 'Bry the Guy' cheating on her with three other girls at the same time. I always had a feeling that Auggie's uncle was a skeevy, douchebag. He gave me the creeps, and I thought he was too touchy when he talked to me. He never did anything 'wrong' necessarily, but he would touch my arm or play with my hair when he got the chance to talk to me.  Lia was too good enough for him anyway, way too pretty for him also. He was just a pretentious little fuckboy that needed his ass kicked. It would come one day eventually, just not soon enough, I thought. We continued to s**t talk 'Bry the Guy' and his ridiculous nickname on the rest of the way home.
