Bea's Point of View    I arrived at the packhouse to meet with Wes about some pack business we needed to discuss. I walk right in and see Mama Blackwood heading towards the kitchen.    "Hey Mama," I greet with a hug. "Oh, hey baby girl, want some sweet tea before heading in with Wes?"  "You know, I do!" I say, walking towards the kitchen with her.  "How has he been, Mama?" I asked her unconsciously, getting two cups from the cupboard and filling them with some ice.  "Still miserable when you are not with him, baby girl, but he is dealing. He has changed Bea. You know I'm not proud of the decisions he made that day, but he had just lost his Father, it's a tragic way of becoming Alpha." She explained, looking down while she poured sweet tea into the cups.  "Yeah, I know, I'm not much better off, but I just can't bring myself to forgive and forget besides he is still as impulsive as ever."  "True, but he is trying to be better because he loves you and doesn't want to lose ya. I can see you still love him too." She motioned towards the two cups in front of me with the pitcher of sweet tea. I suddenly realized I had grabbed an extra mug for Wes. "I do, Mama, I never stopped" Mama gives me a small smile, and I grab the cups and head towards the office where I see Wes already waiting for me at his desk. Wes saw me coming and got up from his chair behind the desk. "Hey darlin' come here please, I need you to sign some papers." He smiled at me.  "Hey, Wes, here." I handed him a cup of sweet tea once I stopped in front of him.  "Thanks, baby." He leaned forward and kissed my cheek, then moved to sit on the sofa in front of the desk. I take a sip from my sweet tea, put it down, and sit at the desk to look over the papers and sign them while we talk.  "I talked to Adelaide today, she accepted our proposal for Omega, and she agreed to take over training the pack." Wes states. "That's great! If anyone could convince her it's you, I'm glad, she is the perfect person to lead training." I agree. The tension in the room is starting to build as we run out of small talk to discuss. "I talked to Wyatt, and he agrees that Augustine is a good candidate to be Gamma. What do you think? Do you have anyone else in mind?" I continue. We really needed to fill some critical positions in our pack. He starts to respond when my phone rings, I take it out and see that it's Lia, I show Wes the screen, and he nods and leans back to relax as I answer the call. "He dumped me, Bryan f-freakin' dumped me, Bea!" I heard Lia's voice through my phone. I scrunch up my face and look up at Wes, who was drinking his sweet tea. "What do you mean, "Bry the guy" dumped you?" I tell her in the most sarcastic voice I could muster when I say Bryan's self-proclaimed name. I see Wes raise his eyebrow bringing his cup back up his lips, taking another sip.  Lia and I talk for a little bit before hanging up.  "Everything alright, Darlin'?" Wes asks me, concerned the moment we hang up. "Yeah, just Lia walked in on Bryan with some pack groupies, and he dumped her. That f*****g douche." I scoff, telling Wes about my conversation with Lia. "I really don't like that asshole." He agreed with me.  "About the Augustine proposal, I like it. I hadn't come up with any other good candidates. Let's put him to test the waters and see how he does before we tell him about the position." Wes got back to being serious with the matters that needed to be hashed out.  "Perfect, I'll inform Wyatt." I nod, going back to reading and signing papers.  With pack business done, I finish signing the last of the papers, Wes needed me to sign and look up at him. "In other news, babe, Paisley's graduation is in three days, that means you have to wear a suit," I smirk up at him.  "Oh, hell no, you know how uncomfortable those things are darlin'." he sighs at me.  "Well, I'm wearing a dress and heels, so you gotta dress up to match me." I push my chair back and get up, preparing myself for a stand-off with this stubborn man.  "You always wear dresses and heels, baby, that doesn't mean I gotta wear a suit." He tried to reason with me.  "True, but I think you look so sexy in a suit, baby." I tried to coax him into the idea by being flirty, by pouting my lips and batting my lashes.  Walking towards him, I leaned in close, and my lips touched his. Almost instantly, his hand reached around to grab my ass and pull me on top of him. With my fingers running through his hair, I held him closer to me, deepening the kiss. It wasn't long before I felt his d**k hardening against me, and with his hands guiding my hips, I ground against him, eliciting the sexiest sounding groan from his throat. Our tongues fought for dominance, and soon his hands were running under my shirt, raking his fingers down my back as I pulled his shirt off over his head. Fuck. There it was again. That spark. Nyx dancing excitedly inside of me, feeling the mate bond. His eyes opened to meet mine, and I knew Wes and Ronan were feeling it too. I hated this delicious spark; how can I still feel like this for him after everything that we've been through! It's his fault my parents are dead for crying out loud, but he is still my mate, and I can't bring myself to reject him. He lifted us up in one swift movement and laid me down on the sofa, resting himself in between my legs. His teeth found my lip, biting it hard, my legs wrapped around his waist to keep the friction as he pressed against me. His lips found my neck, and he started sucking and pulling at the soft skin with his hands grabbing the ends of my shirt to start lifting it over my head. The door to Wes's office swung open suddenly, and Paisley skipped in. She noticed what was going on and froze with shock, and she quickly turned around with a blush.  "Oh, Moon Goddess, I'm so sorry, Alpha Blackwood, Luna. Mama Blackwood asked me to come to get you; dinner is ready," she said, leaving the office in a hurry.  "Of course she did," Wes said under his breath, rolling his eyes and sighing.  I growled loudly at the interruption, but I was going to have to thank Paisley for it later. As much as I wanted to get off with my mate, I always felt my heart get heavy after feeling conflicted with our complicated relationship. Wes and I got up from the sofa; he put his shirt back on. Walking out of the office, I glanced sideways to look at Wes's face. "Don't think you are getting out of wearing a suit for Paisley's graduation, Mister, it's an important day for her. and she deserves to see all the people that love her looking their best for her." He smirked back at me but said nothing.  "It's a nice afternoon out. I thought we could eat outside." Mama Blackwood told us as soon as she saw us come in. Paisley and Augustine were taking dishes from the counter and carrying them outside.  "Here, dear, take this outside, will you please." She told me, handing me a jar of fresh lemon sweet tea.  "Weston babe, can you take the big dish with the chicken? I'm going to grab the asparagus from the oven, and I'll be right out." Mama told Wes putting her oven mittens on to take the dish out of the oven. Wes and I walked out together. I went ahead to sit in front of Paisley.  "Hey, sweetie, how was school?" I asked Paisley while I served her some sweet tea.  She looks at Augustine nervously, and he squeezes her hand before she looks back at me with a little more courage now.  "This girl from my class Hannah, the one obsessed with Auggie, remember?" She looked at Wes quickly and back at me expectantly.  Something must have happened that made her so nervous. Wes has a strict no fighting outside of training rule, especially with anyone outside of our pack, aka humans. I nod at her, indicating that I do remember this Hannah girl. "Well, we had a confrontation again today," she quietly tells me, eyes looking down at the table.  "Anything I should be concerned about?" Wes looks at her with an eyebrow raised but slightly concerned; I know he has a soft spot for her as much as we girls do.  "No, I'm sure it's just some girl drama, nothing you need to worry about, the girls and I will take care of it." I cover for Paisley, sending her a reassuring smile and letting her know we would talk about this later with Lia and Adelaide.  "Alright, darlin', you do your Luna thing," Wes tells me, smiling proudly. We start passing the dishes out, serving some food on our plates, and having a nice dinner together. The rest of the conversations throughout the meal were lighthearted and fun.
