Chapter 7
Kent met Heidi at the corner. Jason was becoming stricter about the drugs and wouldn’t let them do coke in the parking lot anymore. If they showed up high on whatever he wouldn’t ask questions, but he didn’t want them using on the property at all. He hopped out of his car and into hers.
“I didn’t think you were coming,” Heidi said.
“I had a hiring fair thing in Missoula today.”
“Isn’t it a little late for something like that?”
“I had dinner with a friend afterwards. You got it?”
“Of course, I do.” She held up the baggy of white powder and smiled. “Shall we?”
