Chapter 14
There was no option. It didn’t matter how much Kent wanted to see Annalise, or how much he needed to apologize to Patrick, Theo had given him an order and until he completed that order he simply had no other choice. So, he spent his first afternoon free from the hospital sitting in his car outside the pack hall, staring at his phone, and waiting.
The doctor hadn’t been convinced that letting Kent drive was safe but, in the end, when Kent had passed all the tests with flying colors, he’d relented and returned Kent’s keys. “But straight home,” he said. “And rest.”
“Sure,” Kent said. But instead he’d come here, to the pack hall.
