Tee's POV
The soap sank into the cut in my shin. "Ah, steady on Clint" I winced, as it stung; but something else was distracting me. I saw him looking at me out of the corner of my eye. I knew he was there, but I decided to ignore that while Clint examined my shin. He muttered to himself. "No infection as far as I can see, I've washed it so just rest it for a couple of days so you don't open the cut or get any germs inside, ok?" he said, Clint in the medical aspects was like a big brother, or a father to me, and I respected him. "Thanks Clint..." I said gratefully. "Hey, no problem, but don't you go moving around, I have people who will tell me if you do." He said mysteriously. I laughed "I won't, I promise" I said smiling and after smiling back and clearing up his things, Clint left.
(A couple of hours later)
I had been confined to my hut and just rest my leg but it was actually starting to get pretty boring. Sitting in a dark room with no-one but yourself is very depressing, especially when you can hear the chatter and laughter of everyone else outside. I never thought I'd say this, but I'd actually prefer to be working outside right now... Ugh, Clint was right, I am ill. The light faded under my door and the chatter began to die down so I assumed people were going to bed now. I had no idea what time of the night it was. Just as I was settling down, I heard footsteps approach my hut and they stopped outside my door. Following that, someone started to rap at the door impatiently. I was so bored I didn't really care who it was, I didn't consider how worse things could of got though so I unwisely said. "Yes" The door opened and Gally stepped in. I turned away, furiously. "What do you want?" I said; my voice laced with venom. "Tee what are you doing, have you been in here all day?" He asked me sitting on my bed. "We'll I'm just resting my leg after your maniac of a girlfriend nearly pulled it off" I said bitterly. "Don't blame this on her Tee, you were both fighting" he said fairly. This was not the case. Ok, maybe it was, but I wasn't telling Gally that. "Oh just piss off Gally your obviously on her side so leave me alone, what did you want anyway?" I asked irritably. "Just wanted to see if you were ok..." he mumbled. This guy was so hot and cold, I honestly could not believe he had the audacity to come and see me. The anger started to climb up inside me again. "Glad to see you finally take an interest" I yelled. "Don't be stupid, of course I care!" he yelled back. I heard mumbles from the huts outside; footsteps were approaching, if the others found us like this they'd think something was going on and the last thing I needed was any more drama. "Go!" I whispered/shouted. "NO!" he said louder. Newt knocked on the door. "Tee, is everything ok, in there? We heard shouting..." came Newts voice.
I looked at Gally with a pleading look, he looked at me again and facially agreed to go and with that he dashed out through a hole in the back of the hut, rather reluctantly, maybe he wanted to talk about last night... So what? I didn't care anymore, he had the girl he cared about.... The door finally gave way and Newt burst in. "Tee! You didn't answer" he said worried. "Don't worry, I'm fine" I muttered, far away, thinking about Gally and what's going to happen between us... "You seem, distracted, whats up?" Newt observed sitting on the end of my bed; just as Gally had done a few moments ago. "No, I'm fine honestly, thanks though" I reassured him, lying of course. "You're a terrible liar" he remarked smiling and scooting closer to me. "I guess that's a compliment" I shrugged. "That was brutal by the way, what she did to you, we all agreed they should've done it in private, and she definitely should not have got physical with you" he said frowning. "Wow, most people have said its the other way round" I explained sadly. "Don't be silly, it was she who started it, thinking she can have any guy she wants and push you around, nah, she can't do that" he said smiling at me. "Thanks Newt, at least someone's got my back" I exclaimed patting his back.
Gally wasn't leaving my head anytime soon, I just wish he'd leave me alone so I could forget about him, but deep down, I didn't want him to...
