Alice
"Okay ladies, ready?" Mrs. Lionheart announced. The choreographer and Mrs. Lionheart sat in front of us. These practices were grueling, to say the least, but they were fun.
"Shake those hips," Mrs. Lionheart called out. "Flirt with your crowd. Tease us. Make us want you." I thought it was funny to hear this from our boss but she was once one of us. She knew what it was like. The thrill of being a club dancer.
"Okay, that's enough for today," she announced. "Get your outfits ready for tonight, and remember have fun." I loved how nice she was. It was somewhat comforting. Even though, the thought of her son and me, yeah no. But I couldn't help myself. Thinking about his hands on my body. Damn him, I haven't stopped thinking about him. We didn't exchange numbers. This was just a one-time thing, well last one-time thing. He wasn't going to distract me. I needed this job. I didn't need a boyfriend.
-Want to grab some coffee-
I got a text from Mateo. Well, I could use a little bit of a distraction from my non-distraction. I smiled as I replied.
-Sure-
A Few Minutes Later
"Hey," Mateo smiled. His smile was golden. He looked like the boy next door but I knew he was far from it. "So, when are you going to let me take you out on a real date?"
"I thought we were just friends," I said.
"A guy can change his mind," he smirked.
"Right, well you're going to have to work for it," I said.
"Oh really," his grin grew wider. "How hard," I couldn't help but smile.
"Down boy," I laughed.
"Come on, let me take you out, I guess just as friends until you let me be more," his gentle smile made my heart sore. Why does he have this effect on me? He ran his fingers through his hair, his golden-brown eyes were locked on mine. Damn it, I wanted to pull him on top of me and run my fingers through his hair.
"So?" he asked.
"Fine, tomorrow night," I replied.
"Perfect," we finished our coffee and he walked me back to my place.
"So, who was that?" Ady asked.
"My friend," I answered.
"No, I am your friend, he seems like more," she said.
"Well, he is not. He is just my friend," I smiled.
"Okay, that smile says different but whatever," she accused. I went to my room and got my bag ready for work. I then took a shower and did my hair then my makeup.
Later that night, I headed to work. I went straight to the back and got dressed. I had gone with some of the main girls in my dance numbers to the mall to shop for our matching outfit. It was sort of expensive to keep up with their looks. They had been working at club XXX longer than me so I needed to just go with it but I didn't want to waste so much money on outfits I would only wear once. I have never seen them recycle a look. So, I decided to use my own clothes and pieces of my old dance numbers to make my floor looks. I didn't really think anyone would notice. They would be too busy looking at my ass or t**s to care. We were wearing a purple tank and booty shorts with a chain harness over the top. The look had a matching collar with a metal hoop attached to the front. It wasn't my favorite look we had worn but it was creative, I guess.
It was finally time to go on stage. I walked on stage and immediately saw him. Santiago was sitting at one of the tables in the front. He had a glass in one hand and a cigar in the other. He definitely looked like he owned the place. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I heard the music come on and did the first move. I grabbed the head of the girl next to me and pulled her down and spun my ponytail around. I licked my lips and caressed my thigh. I slowly brought her head up and teased the crowd. I didn't kiss her but I came close. We locked arms and threw our heads back before doing a body roll towards each other. I didn't look his way. I didn't want to. I knew he would be smirking. I needed to stay focused. The music changed. It got louder and faster. At this point, our routine mostly consisted of us groping each other. There was a lot of smoke and lights. Some of the crowd was dancing in the middle of the club. The music seemed to go on for hours but suddenly it changed and it was our queue to get off the stage. I went to the back and changed out of my outfit. I put on a red crop top I had and some black shorts. It was simple but still sexy. It showed off what I needed to show off.
"Hey Alice, someone wants you in room 3," a fellow dancer said. I wanted to ask her who but I sort of already knew the answer. I slowly made my way to room 3.
"You should have kept the collar on," Santiago said in that smooth deep voice he has. I closed the door behind me.
"You want a dance because that's all your getting," I said sternly.
"We shall see about that," he smiled. He tilted his head to the side and said "Well dance."
I started dancing. I didn't make eye contact with him but I knew he was looking me up and down. I felt his gaze and it was driving me crazy.
"Why don't you wear something more flashy?" he asked.
"I prefer simple,"
"How will that get you tips,"
"You tip me well,"
"That's because I get the full service," he said. "Don't tell me you offer that service to everyone?" I turned around quickly and gave him a displeased look.
"I'm kidding," he quickly added.
"It wasn't funny," I said upsettingly.
"Let me buy you new clothes, that way not only do I get to apologize but also help you out with your lack of appeal," Santiago said. I made my way out of the room and went to go look for another customer.
He watched me the whole night. Half in displeasure and half in hate. I didn't care though. I knew he wanted me and part of my sick twisted self wanted him too even after what he said.
