Moira comes to me after Boone is back conversing with more guests. “Lily,” she says fast, gripping my hand tightly. “Come on, I need your help with something.”
Camellia who is still talking to me stared at her unkindly. I think they know each other, Moira after all is Boone’s private secretary. “Hello, Moira,” she greets her coolly. “Still with no manners, I see. How did you call the Luna Queen?”
“She’s my fuckin stepmother, Camellia,” Moira answers. “I call her whatever I want.”
