It’s dawn, Lily and I walk hand in hand to the woods behind my grandparents’ castle. This will be the first time we actually let our wolves run together, part of the seven-day ceremony that started yesterday. Lily and I follow everything according to the coronation tradition, except for the sleeping together part. We’ve been sleeping together since the first night we found out that we are mates. That was the most difficult part, I could never stay away from her.
Finding out that Lily is actually a princess of the Northernland Kingdom last night was wild. Now I have to once again lie to my people like I did with Theresa, but this time for a completely different reason. An unselfish one. With Theresa, I lied because of her pride. She was embarrassed to be seen only as my chosen mate.
