Chapter 02: No Happy Ever After!

Misa thinks if she should awake the sleeping handsome by kissing him.
She slowly sits beside him and watches him sleeping. She wonders if she should touch him to check if he is real. He looks too good to be real. Misa slowly moves her hand to touch his forehead when Ryuji opens his eyes.
Misa is sitting there frozen and surprised. Ryuji stares at Misa and her hand that is just two inches away from his face. Ryuji asks,
- Who are you?
Ryuji has a manly voice that Misa can never get bored of! Misa takes her hand back as soon as she can and jumps up. Ryuji also stands up slowly. Misa bows and shouts,
- Nice to meet you, Lord Ryuji. I am Misa Karzan... (pauses) your wife...
Misa is about to cry. Her handsome husband can’t recognize her. Ryuji looks at her being suspicious. Misa's eyes get teary. Misa is screaming in her mind, "What should I do! My darling doesn’t recognize me! What should I dooooo!" Ryuji slowly repeats,
- My wife?
Misa signs. Suddenly she sees a hand in front of her. She looks at Ryuji. His expression has completely changed. His face looks happy as if he recognized him. Ryuji says loudly in happiness,
- MY WIFE!
Misa is about to cry tears of happiness. She immediately grabs Ryuji's hand and jumps into his arms.
- Darling...
Ryuji also welcomes her with a hug and starts to spin in happiness. Misa can't believe her fate. If she knew this, she would come to the dragon world ten years ago she thinks. Misa has never been so happy.
Misa looks at Ryuji, Ryuji looks at her. They are the happiest people in the universe.
Suddenly Misa feels Ryuji moving his hand from Misa's back. Misa feels as if Ryuji is going far away from her.
It takes her a few seconds to understand that it's not Ryuji, she is going away. She is falling from the cliff. She sees Ryuji standing up, staring at her with curious eyes.
Misa screams as she falls...
Kanjiro runs there hearing her screams. He finds Ryuji looking down. Kanjiro also looks down and sees Misa falling. Ryuji looks at her being curious and says slowly,
- Why isn’t she flying?
Kanjiro looks at him and says,
- Maybe because she is a human...
Ryuji looks at Kanjiro being surprised. And shouts,
- She was the real one?
- I brought her a while ago!
Kanjiro looks down and says again,
- If she has a weak heart and she dies from this fall, don't blame me. I brought her here safely...
Ryuji looks at Kanjiro and jumps down immediately.
Misa is screaming while falling. All her dreams are breaking into pieces. Suddenly she sees Ryuji falling too. In a blink of an eye, Ryuji comes closer to her and grabs her waist.
Misa grabs Ryuji's dress tightly. Ryuji holds her tightly. They are falling together. They almost reached the ground. Misa closes her eyes and hides her face in Ryuji's arms.
She says softly, "I don't wanna die... I just met you!". Ryuji looks at Misa and laughs.
When she opens her eyes she is floating in the air. She doesn’t see Ryuji around. Her eyes get teary, she thinks if he fell.
She starts to scream, "My lord? Lord Ryuji?" Her voice is getting unclear. Tears start to roll down her cheek. She screams at the top of her lungs, "RYUUUUUJIIIIIIIIII..."
She suddenly feels the ground moving. She thinks an earthquake is happening. Suddenly she hears Ryuji's voice,
- What, human lady? Why are you screaming?
She looks in front and sees a huge dragon in front of her. Then when she realizes the ground she is sitting on is not ground but a dragon's body. This dragon is much bigger than the dragon she saw at the door. And this dragon is none other than her husband, the firstborn Lord Ryuji Ryusei!
Ryuji flies above. Misa is holding the dragon scales tightly. It feels like a theme park rollercoaster ride without any safety guard. Her beautiful dream broke twice in just ten minutes, what will happen to her in the future.
Thus, the lord and the lady go towards the sky... And lives happily ever after there... As if that is even possible!
Misa screams in fear as Ryuji moves faster.
