Casey? - Lexi POV

It’s dark I can’t see much around me I try to move but nothing happens, “Casey” I call but no response. I hear shallow breathing and a rustling noise “Jason” I hear someone speak but not a voice I know, I’m trying to move to see who is around but can’t move, it’s like my body is paralysed “I’m here” another voice not one I have heard before “we don’t have long before they give us another dose of wolfsbane, I’m sorry we are in this situation, I know you have only just come to me but I’m not strong enough to fight my way out” wolfsbane, fighting what is this! I’m starting to panic I can feel my heart quickening I try to shout but nothing is coming out, it’s as though I’m watching a horror unfold but I can’t do anything about it. “It’s ok, we can work on this together each night when the wolfs bane wares off slightly I’ll be able to speak to you we can make a plan, we will get through this together” i hear the male voice, as a door slams open in front of us the light coming through is blinding a hand lifts in front of the eyes as to protect them from the light but it’s not my hand it’s a dirty bloodied hand it’s as though I’m looking through someone else’s vision “ready for our next dose of the good stuff alpha” followed by an evil sounding chuckle “how’s the little mutt doing” another voice coming through “actually he looks to be healing, he got his wolf yesterday so seems to be kicking the wolfsbane out quicker, we need to up the dose” someone grabs the hand covering the eyes but the vision to blurred from the light to see a face, I feel a pain in my neck and suddenly I’m back in my room, another nightmare my body in a cold sweat I can still feel the pain in my neck as I go to rub my neck I see Aria just staring at me. “Are you awake now” she asks shakily “yeah I’m awake but what do you mean? And why are you staring at me” “you was thrashing around in your sleep and shouting for Casey and talking about wolfsbane, you scared the s**t out of me your eyes wide open but glowing pure gold” Aria sounding scared and concerned “it’s just a nightmare, sorry I didn’t realise I moved so much, my eyes don’t glow you must have been dreaming that while in your half asleep state” I shrug off her comment trying to compose my self “that dream was the worst I have had” I say sadly “you’ve had more of them! Does Ty know about this, maybe your eyes weren’t glowing it’s all a-bit of a blur you did wake me abruptly” Aria now sounding shocked and confused “yes Ty knows i have nightmares, not that he has to know everything about me” I bite “ok ok, that is the second time you have bit my head off about mentioning Ty, has something happened with you two? You two do not have secrets from each other you know all there is to know about one and other yet now your telling me he doesn’t have to know everything about you” she clearly getting angry with me now, I check the time it’s eight AM “I need to be at the alphas office for nine to discuss handover, shall we go grab some breakfast?” “Don’t ignore my question Lexi I’m worried about you, you seem to be pushing Ty away and after your ‘nightmare’ I need to know you are ok” “I am ok, I’ve been having nightmares since I was sixteen, my body dealing with the trauma apparently, me and Ty are good too I’ve just got a-lot on my mind with my becoming Luna, once I get into the flow of things I’ll be normal me I promise” trying to sound convincing “promise me you will tell me or Ty if you are not ok” “I promise, but soon I’ll waste away if I don’t get some food” I give her a nudge “ok ok little Luna, let’s go feed that belly of yours”

We head down to the dining area laid out is a hot buffet with eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, fried bread, tomato’s and mushrooms, I grab a-bit of everything and an orange juice and make my way over to the table where Damien is sitting “last nights run make you hungry” he says while sipping his tea “I do seem to have a bigger appetite yes” I chuckle, the sweet scent hits me, oh no not Ty I can’t do this fight now I think to myself, he smells so amazing I just want to be near him touch him, taste him, I watch him as he walks over to the hot plates where the buffet is “shall we head to the office now” Damien surprised by my sudden eagerness “you haven’t eaten your breakfast yet” looking at me confused “I’ll grab it to go, we can work while I eat, I’ll grab a container from the kitchen and meet you there” before he can respond I’m up out of my seat and making my way to the kitchen, aria stops me in my tracks “where you running off to, thought we was having breakfast together” “sorry Aria got to head to the alphas office now to start the handover, sorry, but Ty is over there you can have breakfast with him” she raises her eyebrows at me but ushers me on my way, put my food in a container and then peak through the window in the kitchen door and see Aria and Tyler sitting together chatting away the jealousy setting in although I made her sit and have breakfast with him. I sigh as I turn and grab my things I head out the back way of the kitchen so I don’t have to walk through the dining room and make my way to the alphas office.
