Let’s get ready - Lexi POV

I’ve spent the last few weeks catching up and shadowing Damien on different things there really is alot that goes into running a pack and I’m glad I have Damien by my side, I’ve also been helping arrange the Luna ceremony, and making plans on building a new maternity unit on our lands over by the west border with a extra doctors surgery, I have been planning the hotel trip along with Stephen, Anita, Kaden and Issac. Issac is also unmated and the same age as Kaden, Issac is a very strong warrior and one of the trainers, he hasn’t actively been looking for a mate as he has wanted to concentrate on becoming a head warrior. With everything that has been going in I have managed to avoid Ty as much as possible but he has been keeping Aria occupied, she started staying in my old room as my dreams where becoming to much and ruining her beauty sleep, although my dreams are not as often more like every 3 - 4 nights, however Jacob will arrive later today as it’s the Luna ceremony tonight. Aria, Anita, Elaine and myself have got a shopping day planned to get our dresses for tonight followed by some spa treatments with hair and makeup before the ceremony starts at eight PM. My nerves are really starting to kick in and I could really do with Ty and how he calms me but I just need to suck it up, only a few more months and I will know if he wants me as his fated mate.

Casey is still adamant that Jason and Arlo are alive, I have been over it all with her in-depth of what happened that day and the raids of the colonies and packs after but she’s still in the belief that they are alive. I wish she was right I wish I could believe they were alive and that one day we would reunite, but it’s just not to be.

“Are you ready for today” Casey says excitedly more because she knows we will see Tyler and I can’t just avoid him at the ceremony, “I will be once I have an outfit” I respond trying to keep the Ty talk at bay “come on then Luna let’s go shopping, we will make you irresistible to Ty” Casey bouncing. I get up and link the girls to see if they are ready for the day ahead and plan to meet out front at ten AM. Anita is getting the car from the underground parking while Aria, Elaine and myself wait by the fountain the sun is shining and it’s a beautiful day, I’m taking in the rays while Aria and Elaine are talking all things girly about the shopping trip with the shoes they want their dress style how their hair and make up will be, “what about you Luna” Aria clearly excited for the day, “just something simple for me ladies and not high shoes I don’t want to fall flat on my face” I look at Aria while saying these words as I know what she is like “don’t worry Lexi you will look great by the time we’re done with you, if you fall flat on your face you will still be stunning” I roll my eyes at her as Anita pulls up, Elaine and aria jump in the back and I climb in next to Anita “let’s get to it girl, CARPOOL KARAOKE” Aria squeals Anita rolls her eyes but puts the music on and we make our way to the shops.

We all found our perfect dresses with shoes to match, we had a quick bite to eat before heading to the spa, where we had massages, manicures and pedicures. Given that I don’t really like shopping it has been a lovely day with the girls we are all very relaxed and ready for our evening events. We head straight to my apartment where the hair stylists and make up artists have already arrived, we lost Aria on the way up as Jacob is now here and she wanted to see him before we got started. My long blond hair is half up and half down curled in loose waves and sits just above my hips, my make is natural with a light pink gloss on my lips, I slide into my dress which is fitted to hug my curves with a low back it’s dark sapphire blue with twinkling sparkles like a midnight sky showing it’s beautiful stars. Luckily since having my wolf I have toned up a lot I’m a slim build but have wide hips and a bit busty my dress covers the front with a square top for elegance but has a slit up to the knee to make it look slightly sultry. My shoes have a heel although not high also sapphire blue but without the sparkle, they are closed toe and tie around my ankle with a silk ribbon. A knock on the door distracts me from my reflection in the mirror, I look around the room to make sure all the girls are covered decently and dressed “come in” I shout, in walks Damien his eyes shooting straight to Elaine “hello ladies are you all ready?” Not taking his eyes from Elaine which are now turning dark with lust “she looks hot doesn’t she” I say giving him a nudge to bring him back to reality “beautiful” he says proudly “you all look very beautiful” trying to regain his composure. “Elaine, Anita, Stephen and myself have got you a little gift for the occasion” he says handing me a gift box, I open the box and inside is the most beautiful dainty sapphire stoned bracelet which matches my dress perfectly “it’s lovely” taking him into a tight hug “thank you all, could you help me put it on” he chuckles “you’re welcome but you best ask Elaine to help as it’s to dainty for my fat fingers” with that Elaine makes her way over taking the bracelet from the box, and places it around my wrist, as Damien whispers in her ear “I can’t wait to get you out the dress” “EEWW Damien I don’t need to hear that” I say laughing while pretending to gag, Elaine turns to Damien “well that suit won’t be in one piece by the time I finish with you” while placing a kiss on his cheek “get a room” I hear Aria pipe up everyone now laughing at Elaine and Damien. I hope that me and Ty are like that one day just full of love and lust for each other. “We ready to go everyone is waiting for their Luna” Damien speaks bringing me out of my thoughts of Ty “I’m ready”
