"Sil," Brave called from across the table. "I"m so sorry."
"Me too," Ghost said calmly, emotionlessly. That was Ghost"s way; he was completely shut down in times of high stress or sadness.
"Same here. And I"m sorry about the...necklace thing," Bambi said awkwardly, remembering the time when he referred to Sil"s chain link on her neck as "the kind you put on dogs." He didn"t know. Sil nodded to all of them in acceptance; wounds were healed.
"Fuse?" Bones called in a quiet voice. He seemed shaken by Sil"s story, but he still stood. "We gotta talk about what El told us."
Fuse nodded, and they all stood. Sil stayed down, still sitting in her chair. Fuse wanted to tell her to stand too, but he wasn"t certain she was well enough to stand. She seemed too...out of sorts.
