~Emma's pov~
Before you judge me,I too haven't eaten since morning plus we all know he isn't going to finish the food,no sick person does so I'm just avoiding wastage.We went on with one for me one for you and I couldn't help narrowing my eyes at the amused look he has on his face.Don't judge.
“You have something on your lips"he said staring at me and before I can react,I feel his thumb brush through my lower lip.Then the next thing he brought the thumb to his lips and licked it off all the while his gaze fixed on mine.My mind went blank,like literally blank,I couldn't utter a word.
Still trying to process everything when the door bell rang.It must be the doctor.I quickly took the tray downstairs so I can open the door for him.I didn't give myself time to think of if nor did I dwell any longer.It was a harmless act right.
After the doctor who is now a man thanks to my beautiful self had finished with his administration,he left.It's noon now and jay slept again,he is still a little bit weak but much better than before.I just finished making lunch,so I dished it out and put it in a tray.Trust me it's delicious and enough.
I opened his door to see that he is already awake and looking better.The only good thing about when he falls sick is that it never lasts longer that three to four days but do well to fear those days.
“You're awake "I say dropping the food on the table beside his bed.He just nodded so I used my hand to feel his temperature because his body can't be trusted.
“I brought you lunch"I said transferring the tray from the table to his lap.
He moved further into the bed and tapped on the created space motioning for me to come sit.
“Eat with me"I heard him say and duhhh,hell yes.
“Offcourse let me go get an extra spoon"I said smiling.
The reason I had dished more than enough food has been accomplished.I missed eating with him.
I ran downstairs, took a spoon and ran back up.I could hear him chuckling but who cares.We ate in silence feeding each other from time to time.By the time we were done I was full, satisfied and happy.
“Emma" I heard him call,I looked up to see him staring at me.
“I missed you"he said and I could see the emotion evident in his eyes.But who am I deceiving,I missed him too if not more.I missed his hugs,his smile,the sound of his laugh,I missed my jay.
“I missed you too"I said with teary eyes but I didn't let them fall.He cups my face with one of his hands and place a kiss on my forehead but he didn't move after that instead he placed his forehead on mine.
“No more awkward,,no more weird yes"he said and I nodded in affirmation.I've missed us.
“It's just a movie" he said patting me and I shot hime a side glare,how dare he.
It's night already and we decided to watch movie after dinner and here we are,if I had known it would have ended so tragically,I wouldn't have opted for it.Now am crying and feeling miserable.
“I should go to bed" I told him attempting to stand up but he pulled me back.
“Stay with me"he says and I loose all willpower so I agree.
