UNBREAKABLE (walls and love)

Chapter 8

In Emma's house, voices could be heard from afar,loud angry voices.It would appear as though they were quarrelling,who knows why? Nobody.Only the inhabitants of the house and they were surely not smiling.

“What kind of man are you to say and do such a thing to her,to us.You have no respect whatsoever for this family,do you?” Emma screamed her lungs out angrily at hope's husband.

“Calm down Emma" her mother tried to pacify her but she wasn't having any of it.

“How can you tell me to calm down with what he's been doing ”. she yelled getting more angry and she knew if she stayed there any longer,she would lose it,so she left.

Walking along the street,all Emma's mind could think of was what had happened back there.She could not help remembering the tears flowing non stop from her cousin's eyes.Damn it,she would say every once in a while.

Apparently hope's to be divorced husband had in all disrespect come to the meeting with his mistress without any iota of shame .He even wanted to bring her in if not for Emma's interference.

She couldn't help thinking what exactly it is these men wanted,why couldn't they be satisfied.To her,they were just filthy ungrateful bastards.It was clear to her now,more than ever that the love that happened in books or movies were not real and it would never happen in real life.She sighed, changing the current song playing to her favorite one.

~Jason's pov~

Something is wrong,Emma has not been picking my calls for the past few days nor is she replying to my texts.Something is definitely wrong.

I know it's not something as serious as k********g because this is not the first time she's done this.Whenever she cuts me off like this,it means she is at her lowest,her very lowest.

To others who she'd also cut off,she would choose to act rude, snobbish and arrogant but knowing her well ,you would find that all these acts are just her defense mechanisms against someone seeing the fragile girl in the dark corner of her heart.

He remembered the time when he finally got to know this about her,some time ago after she had cut him off several times and she was doing it again.He went over to her house and when she saw it was him,she tried feigning calmness and told him to leave but he was not having any of it so inquired.

One thing led to another and they were arguing,she couldn't take it anymore so she screamed and rudely told him to leave that she needed her space and the rest was gibberish because he saw something in her eyes.

He saw fear,sadness and remorse but in that same split second it was gone as of a big wall covered it up.He understood,so he went closer to her without saying a word,gave her a kiss on the forehead and left.

She later came around and he knew she would do the same now but the problem was how long it would take,he needed to see her.
