UNBREAKABLE (walls and love)

Chapter 12

Food finally arrived and it was the only thing that was able to take her mind off from the jezebel in their mist, even though jay was none the wiser.

Everyone was already digging into their food except Emma who felt her food didn't seem to have taste compared to the one next to her.Fustrated,she pouted,she didn't want to embarrass him in public but the food looks tasty even though it was the same.Whatever,she huffed.

A low chuckle,a sexy one sounded beside her,it was Jay.He knew she would want to eat his food,she always did but he waited to see if she would ask.Her expressions had been funny ,she was looking at his food with longing eyes and then frustration.He couldn't help but chuckle.

He took a spoonful and directed it towards her lips.She opened them quickly savouring the taste but on the other hand,two pairs of eyes weren't happy.Even as she ate she looked classy and very demure,he thought.He gulped as she licked her lips.

He needed fresh air so he excused himself a while later not before giving her a kiss on the forehead.

“What was all that act of endearment all about anyway "Morgana thought feeling bitter, taking a sip of the wine to hide her discontent.

“So what are you guys a thing"the question was from Roman who also felt displeased.

”Friends,close ones" she replied not giving him a glance as she continues with her best friend's food.Yep they switched.

By the time Jay was back people were already on the dance floor.

“Can I have this dance Miele"he asked.Morgana, smiling turned dramatically to accept his invitation but was shocked to see he wasn't referring to her .

Roman on the other hand who had tried asking for a dance but was turned down was seething with anger when Emma more than readily accepted his new rival.

But the two friends were non the wiser as one was being led by the other to the dance floor.

From a distance, Emma's mother watched with intrigue all that was happening and couldn't help wondering if friends looked at friends that way.

By the time they arrived at the dance floor,the song“perfect" by Ed Sheeran was already on the second verse.As the song played,the duo couldn't pull their gazes from each other as they moved their bodies to flow with the music.

It was like a scene from the movie where every other person disappeared and all they could see was themselves.She didn't know what was happening to her any longer and she hoped it was not what she was thinking.

On the other hand,he knew exactly what was happening,he had fallen for her.Fuck,he had been in love with her this whole time and he knew that what was happening now was just his heart not being able to take it any longer.

By the time the song ended,the faces were inches apart, their bodies grazing and the tension was real.Voices of people leaving the dance floor brought them back to reality.
