One by one, the gnomes hopped off Leofwin and began chanting softly. It was deep and slow. Although Max couldn't understand the words, it ran straight through his core. Nodrik knelt beside Milo and whispered in his ear. Whatever the gnome was saying sparked the earth stone in Milo's chest. The green glow was small, at first, but the longer the gnome whispered, the brighter the earth stone got.
