Chad went back to the hospital. When he entered the room, Theresa was sleeping at the side of Edward’s bed. Edward was reading a book.
Edward waved at him telling him to stay quiet.
He carefully placed the food on top of the table near the sofa and slowly went to the opposite side of Edward’s bed.
“How is Ruth?” Edward asked.
“I made sure she ate before I left her. She might be sleeping by now.” Chad told him, patting his shoulder gently. “How are you?”
“Dr. Borland said that there is nothing more to be worried about. No complications almost fit as a horse. I just need to get my strength back up.”
