Theresa immediately went to her room when she arrived home. Her father’s car was not at the garage so she didn’t have to look for him first before changing into her house clothes.
After changing into her nightgown, her phone rang. It was Chad.
“Hi,” It was Chad’s voice from the other line.
“Hi,” Her face elated. Even her voice, she hoped Chad noticed that.
“Did you come home safe?” He asked.
“Yes, I’m in my room now,” She replied.
“Oh, am I disturbing you? You wanted to rest?” Chad’s voice was apologetic.
“No, I just changed and was about to watch television till dinner. Dad’s not back yet from the office.” She sat on her bed and grabbed the remote control of the television.
“What are you watching?” Chad was interested. It was his way of knowing more about the beautiful Dr. Reed.
