Chad and Theresa chased each other in the rain. They have already forgotten about the horses and had a blast playing under the rain, splashing their shoes in the mud instead.
Theresa shouldn’t have to worry about Amelia anymore. She was a part of the past. She was not in Chad’s life when she was there. That was a big difference. If Jake managed to treat Chad like a brother despite the history that his fiancé and Chad shared, she could do the same too.
She had no idea how long they were in the rain. They heard Nick calling them from the house. They ran towards the back of the kitchen. There was a hose there where they could wash up before entering the house.
Nick left towels for them to use afterward at the railing of the check behind the house.
