Chad’s thoughts came back to the present when Theresa suddenly moved in bed. He looked closely. She was still sleeping. It was still raining outside. Maybe it was a good day to stay indoors instead. Especially with the morning starting on the wrong foot for them.
He slowly crept in bed and laid beside Theresa. He was truly sorry for how he acted earlier.
