CHAPTER 6
The spiritual man, who introduced himself as Baba Olusegun, charged forward with Bayo and Sade. They knew they had to act fast, or risk losing Florence forever.
Blessings laughed, her eyes gleaming with malevolence. "You think you can stop me?" she said. "I have the power of dark magic on my side."
But Sade began to pray, her voice soft and steady. "Dear God, please help us. Please protect our daughter and keep her safe from harm, Detective James father please help us oo,he must not died ,help us to over come all this,she continues praying
Baba Olusegun nodded in approval. "Your faith is strong, my child," he said. "But we must also use the power of our ancestors to defeat this evil."
He began to chant in a language that sounded like ancient Yoruba, and the air around them began to shift. The darkness that had filled the warehouse began to recede, replaced by a warm, golden light.
Bayo and Sade felt a surge of hope. They knew they had to keep praying, no matter what.
Blessings snarled, her eyes flashing with anger. She raised her hand, and a blast of dark energy shot towards them. But Baba Olusegun was ready. He raised his own hand, and a blast of white energy countered Blessings' attack.
The two energies clashed in mid-air, creating a blinding flash of light. Bayo and Sade shielded their eyes, but when they opened them again, they saw that Blessings was stumbling back.
"No," she whispered, her eyes wide with fear. "It can't be."
But it was too late. Baba Olusegun's white energy had overwhelmed her dark magic, and the nanny power beging to fade away, she become week and empty
Bayo and Sade rushed forward, their hearts full of joy. They embraced Florence, holding her tightly as they watched Blessings sitted on the floor innocent she has no power again and she as become empty .
"It's over," Bayo whispered, his voice trembling with relief. "We did it."
Sade nodded, her eyes shining with tears. "We did it," she repeated. "We saved our daughter."
As they held Florence close, they knew that they would never let her out of their sight again or collect any nanny. They had come too close to losing her, and they knew that they would do anything to keep her safe.
The police arrived soon after, and they took the nanny into custody. Baba olusegun bid them goodbye and dissapear But Bayo and Sade knew that they would never forget the spiritual man who had saved their daughter's life
They left the warehouse, holding Florence tightly between them. They knew that they would never forget the terror they had faced, but they also knew that they would never forget the love that had saved them.
As they walked away from the warehouse, they knew that they would always be grateful for the second chance they had been given. They would never take their family for granted again, and they would always cherish the love that they shared
