Cassian’s hand slides around my waist. He doesn’t stop walking—just pulls me back into him slightly, guiding me so I’m moving with him instead of beside him. I let out a soft laugh, caught off guard. “What are you doing?” I ask, glancing back at him. “You’re not going to your room,” he says easily. I raise a brow. “Oh, really?” “No,” he hums, his arm still around me. “You’re sleeping with me tonight.” “You’ve just decided that?” I tease. “Mm,” he nods slightly behind me. “Seemed quite obvious.
