13. The WeddingThe dawn saw the van on its way to the wall. Roann and Leearla held the cabin and Sabienn sat in the rear with Mr Cheez. Sabienn saw that the elderly Turr man insisted his mobility chair be packed with him. If there was to be any action, he wanted to part of it. The wall loomed and the vehicle slowed to address a checkpoint. Sabienn’s heart raced at the prospect of being caught. At the guard-house, Roann passed across her papers with a free lettuce. Sabienn’s mood lightened as they were waved through quickly. Within less than half an hour, the van parked in a clean street with leafy trees and no garbage bins.
