Dinner was finally served after two hours of witnessing the show. Once the show was done, Ms. Alice Page, the CEO introduced me to everybody as the CEO and President of Khloe Sophistique. I delivered a short speech of gratitude, thanking them for the opportunity that they had given to me. I felt emotional that I cried on the stage. It was so embarrassing. I wished the ground would open up and swallow me.
Thankfully, my eyes were on Caleb. He mouthed me I could do it. I felt so grateful for him. He willingly left work just to support me, got sick, and was still even there. What more could I ask for?
