Three weeks later and the wounds had completely healed. They had been healed for some time actually. Yet, Dorian did not once come to see me. I still think that himself and his father hold me responsible for Alina’s death. Tania and Nicolae were brought here because of me. I wanted their forgiveness, something I don’t think I could ever give myself.   I thought about just leaving, and not saying goodbye. I no longer considered Dorian my captor, if that was what he thought. He had rescued me from both Tania and Nicolae. Now both himself and his father were mourning the loss of Alina in their own ways.  I had looked at the balcony of his quarters almost every night.
